课程性质、目的与任务:

掌握坚实的基础理论和系统的专门知识.介绍插值和多项式逼近, 数值积分与数值微分, 常 微分方程初值问题,解线性方程组的直接法,矩阵代数的迭代技术,近似理论,矩阵特征值问 题的计算,非线性方程和非线性方程组的解法,常微分方程边值问题,偏微分方程数值解的基 本数值方法.培养团队工作方法,学会利用计算机进行大规模科学与工程计算中的应用研究。

双语教学课程要求与设想:Bilingual Teaching Idea

1.本课程将使用英文讲授。 The primary teaching language is English.
2.根据时数,我们将讲授该教材的部分内容。本课程是为了加强学生的计算能 力,所以我们将补充一些有关计算和编程的技巧。 Content is to be selected according to available teaching time. To augment students’ computing skills, some computational and programming techniques will be incorporated.
3.本课程牵涉到编程上机计算,计算机语言将使用FORTRAN77。 The computer language utilised will be Fortran-77.
4.本课程安排每周三学时授课,和至少一学时上机。 Weekly classes will consist of 3 x 45 minute lectures and 1 x 45 minute computer experiment.
5.学生的作业要求使用英文来解答,并通过网络提交作业。 Student assessments and exercises are to be completed in English and submitted electronically. (ftp://homework:homework@210.34.19.21)

7.考试成绩按百分制,最终考试占百分五十,平时作业占百分五十。 Student assessments are weighted as follows - final exam (50%) and homework(50%).
