内容摘要:Computing characters of finite groups is one of main problems in group representations. Hecke algebras and generalizations plays the role of kernels of integral transformations such as Fourier transformations, which translation the questions of computing group characters into computing bases in the representation of different type algebras. Canonical basis plays exactly such role. This is one the motivations of categorifications. In this talk I will relate these different topics together in terms of Fourier transforms.
