Program   Objectives

and Requirements

Objective:   to cultivate graduatesadapting tothe actual needs ofChina's socialist   modernization, who should have all-round   development; generousfoundations of mathematics,   humanities and socialsciences;a certainbasicknowledgeand   natural sciences, as well as independent access to   knowledge, ask questions, basic skillsin analyzing and   solvingproblems, a higher cultural awareness,broad   knowledge, anda pioneeringspirit of   innovationexpertise.Aftergraduationstudents can be   engaged in theoreticalandpracticalapplication, teaching andneighboring disciplines, such   asIT,insurance,financial, economic and otherrelevant   departments.Specifications: The students mainlystudy   mathematicsand related disciplines, basictheory and   basicskills, withsomeknowledgeofthe humanitiesandsocialsciences, to acceptmore systematicbasic training inscientific   thinkingandscientific research, initially withthe   integrated use ofmathematicalandthe basictheoryandtechnical methodsrelated   disciplinesability toresearch, teachingand development. 

Instructions for  

Course Selection

The courses included   in the "public basic course", "general education   curriculum", "discipline through courses", "professional   orientation course", "Other teaching" of 5 parts, the required   credits were 32,14 , 39,54,11, totaling 150 credits.
      First, according to school   regulations attend "public basic course" and "general   education curriculum" in the compulsory and elective courses in these   two types of elective courses so that these two types of total credits   amounted 32,14.
      Second, according to plan to attend   college commencement "discipline through taught" in all courses, a   total of 40 credits.
        Third, the professional training direction, including basic   mathematics and applied mathematics orientation direction. Students should   attend all of the modules in their chosen direction courses, and elective   module courses and professional orientation courses in any other elective   modules with a total of 54 credits.
      Fourth, the complete military   training, social practices, and other teaching thesis and other regulations   compulsory and elective credit requirements.
      Fifth, each year the school set up   at least four shour term courses for students in grade one, two and three..   Unless participate in "summer school" or "summer   camp"outside the university, each student must take at least two   elective coursesin the short term.
